RaggTopp is the defacto waterproofing protectant and revitalization product to use on Vinyl and Cloth convertible tops.This item is intended for Cloth tops only.There is another version for use on Vinyl tops.Before using this product you must first clean the top using a cleaner like that made by RaggTopp.Once the top is dry then you have to drape your car with sheets to avoid getting overspray on windows and paint.It would not be the end of the world if you got this stuff on the paint or glass but you have to wipe it up promptly with clean towels, turning regularly to get rid of it.With the top down and the windows up i laid out a bed sheet and then closed the top over it.then cover the back deck of the car and the rear window when spraying.you must hold the spray very high over the car and make broad sweeping motions.allow the spray to gently rain down on the top.if outdoors this would be hard to do on a windy day.if hold the can too close to the top when you spray you will end up with white lines that make your top look horrible.i did this the first time and had to clean the top and start over.with the can held high you get a light even mist covering the top.you let it dry and repeat the spraying process.once completely dry your top will once again have what seems like factory fresh water repellant abilities... water beads up like when the top as new.i wish that the instruction that came with it were as detailed as these and hope that these note help you rejuvenate your cloth top.

i rate this item 4 out of 5 becuase the included instructions were lousy.they could have easily been made more complete like my one notes above and saved me lots of time in getting this job done.but the product works like nothing else.

I purchased this top case, and the head rest from Amazon, at a much lower price than the dealer, that charges list price.
The top case is good looking and huge, two full size large helmets fit inside. The only drawback is that the mounting instructions are very poor, you can hardly read them, since they must be photocopies, of photocopies, of photocopies... of the original manual. If you are very patient, are handy with tools -and have about two hours to spare, you are welcome to install it yourself, or be ready to pay the dealer an additional $90 for the installation.

I was very impressed with these gloves once I received them. They were thicker throughout than I expected and warmer too. There is mesh between the fingers so I guess if it was cold you close your hand, and today when it was warm I opened my fingers... Instant vents. The sizing was pretty accurate, I am always between a large and an XL. I bought the XL and it fits fairly well. All of the fingers fit true, except the thumb. There is a little too much room in the thumb and the wrist. I still would not trade them for a large. Being an army vet I like the Urban print in contrast to my all black jacket and helmet. I like them enough I am about to go look at the other styles of the same gloves... hope this helps.

Smaller is definitely better when it comes to power balls.I bought the original one and it worked well, but was hard to get into the smaller portions of my wheels.I did not use the extension rod much.I still used my dremil in some of the corners, but if you want to polish you wheels with less effort than just a rag and some elbow grease it is much better.The polishing compound that comes with the set works very well also.

This rack bag would be great on a kids ATV. While it is a great idea, the cover will not fit a full size ATV. We have both a2009 Polaris 800 and a Polaris 500 and the cover will not fit over the front of either one. The ATV pictured in the ad must be really small. Also each side the cooler part will hold 12 cans, however, if you did stuff in 12 cans there would be absolutely no room for ice. I could only get 7 cans in and still have room for ice enough ice to stay cold for several hours. All in all it's a good idea but a bad design. Too small.........

The instructions for this product are worthless.Before installing the battery, obtain a good set of ear plugs.When you install the battery, the alarm goes off and DOES NOT STOP until you get everything reassembled.I learned this the hard way.After many attempts, the alarm stopped working.Today, I contacted Xena Customer Support and the person who answered the phone was able to immediately clarify the installation procedure and is sending me a replacement for my broken alarm module and a new battery.

This bag delivers on all accounts. Attaching to the bike is simple and secure- and there are several easy option. The bag is intelligently divided, with different sized pockets so keeping gloves, an extra visor, and all sorts of other items separated.

The construction is solid. Nothing on the bag feels cheap or compromised. The main zipper even has an elastic strap to hold it so it doesn't make noise while riding. I was able to fit the under-the-seat anchor piece on without having to remove the rubber pads under the seat. Although the first time it didn't work, I slid the leather anchor a little further back on the fender and the seat was then able to latch.

I have seen some people (on other sites' reviews) say that the bag is too small to use as a backrest. Obviously this depends on your motorcycle. I am 5'6" and have a vulcan 900 classic. Putting the bag against my sissy bar makes using the backrest easy (and I don't even have highway pegs, so I don't lean back when I ride). I would highly recommend this bag and would make the same choice again.

Hello. I looking forward for this item. I want it very much, but when i received it I was disappointed. Really Tank protector was with very bad glue junction. When I install it on tank of my motorbike in few minutes it came unstuck. Then when i check the Glue surface I found out that it was like plasticine. I move off plasticine in few minutes fully. Then purchased special double sticky tape and using it install again the protector. It is fine now.

Absolutely doubled my ride time! The air cushions are comfortable both ride-wise and temperature-wise. And the fact that you can adjust the inflation to suit is a plus. Not sure why the previous reviewer penalized these for not being something they never claimed to be.

These tools are billed as an upgrade on the OEM tool kit, and that is exactly what they are.

If you've ever been forced to rely on an OEM tool kit, while on the side of the road for instance, you'll find them to be poor at best, and unusable at worst.If they actually work, they will round the bolts off and come close to stripping the screw heads out.

The Cruztools kit replaces that OEM garbage with a set of tool that actually works, and can get you out of a bind without the drawbacks of the OEM tools.This kit comes with extras you are not likely to see in the OEM kit.They will likely cost less than the OEM kit as well.

XENA DISC ALARM LOCK STEEL HD SS XN15 Review

I got this alarm lock to use on my new Vectrix, as it's an electric motorcycle and I didn't want an integrated alarm that would be running on the batteries.

As a lock, it seems very solid. The key design is complex and looks very difficult to pick. It's mostly stainless steel and looks like it could resist a major mechanical attack.

As an alarm, it's not very impressive. It uses photo detectors to determine if it's been placed on a brake rotor. That system is a bit flaky and sometimes it's difficult to get it to arm. When annunciating, the alarm can be defeated by just placing the palm of your hand over the little opening, causing the sound to become totally muffled and barely detectable even when being close enough to hold it. And that's when it's actually working.

I bought this lock in November after our second trailer had been stolen (they cut thru the padlocks).At that time our trailer was buried in snow and ice and we couldnt see the wheels much less put this lock on a wheel. We got a melt in early March, I handed it to my husband to put it on the trailer and he came back in and said "where are the keys?"There were no keys to this thing. I would expect the keys would have been taped to the lock but they werent.I contacted the company with several emails to get a set of keys but they NEVER RESPONDED. So all we got is a very expensive door stop.PFFFFFFT.Lousy company who deserves to go belly up in this economy because they dont care about their customer.

I really love this car seat BUT the chest clip is very, very poor. My almost three year old son loves the seat but now he can undo the chest clip and then removes the restraining harness while I am driving. I am trying to find a chest clip that he cannot undo but Graco does not seem to have a good line of chest clips that will be difficult to undo. I am angry at Britax because for a 3.00 chest clip, they are trying to charge me 20.00 for shipping to Hawaii. Not really happy about this.

I used this muffler to replace a raspy/buzzy resonator in my custom exhaust system and it got rid of the drone sound on the freeway. I was making several long drives a month and my exhaust used to be deafening after 6 hours. Now I can have a conversation in the car at freeway speeds and there's very little drone. I don't feel any powerloss either which was the whole reason I went with a custom exhaust setup. My local exhaust shop would have charged me 2-3x more than what I paid for this plus install, but they were cool and understood.

I bought this step bar for my F-150. When I bought it, there was a 5 year warranty on it. It lasted 5 years and 10 months and rusted thru to the point that when I stepped on it to get in my truck, it broke off and fell to the ground. I called Westin customer service and they would not do anything for me on it. I understand that the warranty was up, but I would expect something to last more than 10 months past warranty. I'll never buy Westin again. Poor quality.

Although Amazon price was well below that of other vendors, I was a little hesitant to purchase this jacket, since I'm a little on the small side (38 waist but otherwise skinny) and a little short. After reading other reviews and checking size charts, I finally ordered the Large model. When it arrived I found that it fitted very snugly with both liners in (sweater underneath), and very comfortably without the liners.The sleeves were a little long, but the straps on the arms adjusted that length nicely.Even without the liners, the jacket was comfortable at 40 deg. temp on my ride to work. The zipper was heavy-duty and easily mated and operated. Large metal snaps were easy to line up and and fasten. Pockets all over the place, and adjustable waist straps. Fits like a second skin - no flapping around. Riding home in the 70 deg temp the well-placed zippered vents allowed air to flow through.I got several comments on how visible the jacket made me in traffic - important on a motor scooter. Shoulder, elbow, and back armor well-placed.The jacket got more comfortable with repeated wear, and I can even walk into restaurants without looking like "Robo-Cop."Great jacket- more expensive than most, but worth every buck.

Unlike the earlier reviewer, I DID get my jacket...from Motorcycle Superstore (I've never had a bit of trouble with my orders from them; it does take them a couple days to ship, but once it's on its way, no problem)....and it's AWESOME!Of the 4-5 motorcycle jackets I've owned, THIS ONE is the keeper!Like many leathers, it may run just a hair small (I usually wear a 20-22 and ordered the 3W.I probably could have worn the 2W, but this one gives me some room), so order up if any doubt.The "Exo" lacing system on the sides is great...helps fit the jacket perfectly, plus it just looks hot!I ordered the black/black and the one surprise is that the trim is BLACK PATENT. The sides have an overprint on them that lends a nice feminine touch.

Okay so I got this product to put on my Patio.It seems tough and came with two Drill bits.After about 45 minutes with a standard drill and destroying a bit.I went and got another bit which I also destroyed but was able to finish 1 of the 3 holes. My expectations were not too high based on the price. I expected chrome-plating and not chrome, but I didn't expect the plating on the clamp to crack immediately upon installation. I'll be lucky to get through the season before the plating starts to begin peeling.

There were no instructions, so installation is guess-work. Seems simple, but several questions do come up.

- There are two clamps; what ranges of bar sizes are these for?

- Are the 'pyramid-shaped' spacers used in every application?
- Do they go on the inside of the clamp in the same orientation as when the kit arrives?

- Am I to tighten, or partially/further tighten, the lock nut that the peg pivots on? (It's loose enough to fall off when it arrives, so the answer is obviously "yes", but how much and why did it come this way?)

The pegs included a piece of paper with a very lengthy warranty and liability disclaimer. Why couldn't the back contain a few instructions? Would've another piece of paper or a little toner hurt the profit margin that much?

I had to use this once, and it worked great!The only advice I have is that you need to make sure both the windshield and the mounting plate are completely clean of old adhesive, or whatever you tried to use before buying this kit.You can't get things too clean!That means scraping old material off with a razorblade scraper, and scrubbing like crazy with rubbing alcohol.

Then, just follow the package directions, and you'll be fine.I used one of these kits, and the mirror held for five years until I sold the car.

FORMOTION GAUGE COMPASS CR/WH CA-35830 Review

I just purchased this compass and installed onto my motorcycle's windshield. I bought the white dial version. It was a tough install, as I like to do a good professional job.

I was originally going to install it onto my 7/8" handlebars, but I can't see how this mount would even allow you to mount it to the handlebars (the package even says it mounts to handlebars). Maybe I'm stupid? I ended up drilling a hole through my perfect windshield and mounting it dead-center. This was a good location as it is away from all possible magnetic interference.

Welll.... To do a perfect installation was a total pain. The instructions are somewhat vague, and there's no pictures which would have helped me immensely. The supplied mount is brass that's painted black, so it's bendable. I had a tough time getting the correct angle bent into the mount so the compass would be level. There is only a single screw what holds the mount to the windshield, so it needs to be real tight so the whole thing doesn't rotate and flip upside down while I'm riding. I had to supply my own non-magnetic parts to finish the installation.

I was bummed to find that the compass was a bit bigger than I had hoped, but it still looks good now that it's mounted. While not as big as most good auto compasses, this is about 3/4 the size of one. Unfortunately, every pic I see on-line gives no reference to size. Maybe that's on purpose???The compass was also well calibrated right out of the package, so that was nice.

For the rather large cost of this compass, the chrome could be better. It looks sort of cheap and may rust. Also, the liquid filling isn't viscous enough, as it's like water or alcohol. Engine vibrations really can affect the reading (like a lopey idle), especially if your bike shakes a lot. A more viscous liquid probably would help this problem, even though it would react slower.

Now that it's installed, I like it, but one should be aware that the install for this can be difficult, and you may need additional non-magnetic parts if it's a custom install.

If you want to save a bunch of money, and you don't mind a larger compass, Sherrill makes a VERY well made plastic auto compass with twin compensators for around $12. and it lights up!It's not as sexy as the Formotion, but it'll do the job well. You'll still need to design your own mount, though.

This thing really works! It looks a little hokey on my Honda Valkyrie but my rear end really doesn't care about that and frankly if that sort of thing bothers you, you can very easily remove it when you got off you bike. That could be a problem if there are thieves about too. These Airhawk cushions are quite pricey and could be a target. But if you want some extra comfort on long rides, these do the trick. A tip to only BARELY inflate the cushion is true and its very easy to adjust properly. It was delivered on time and in good condition by the vendor at the best price I could find by quite a margin via Amazon.

I couldnt be more happy with this product. I have been looking at various companies trying to decide on a stand. Started looking at high dollar pitbull, then vortex, then t-rex, now this one. They all have the same thing in common, they are all some metal with a couple wheels attached to it. Nothing more, nothing less. So, why are some over 100 dollars? Made no sense to me. This is a great stand and is almost identical to the vortex. I especially like the double caster design (much like vortex) but with a cheaper price tag, the decision was easy.

Assembly was a piece of cake. If you can brush your teeth on your own, you can put this together on your own. I'll definitely be looking into their front stands as well.

I've tried bigger, handlebar-mounted shields on different motorcycles, but always got a lot of head buffeting with them. Since I didn't buy my Super Glide strictly for touring, I didn't want a large fork-mounted shield eventhough one of those would provide much more protection from the elements and might alleviate some or all of the head buffeting. But, especially on long trips, I appreciate this screen's excellent ability to relieve the effort of hanging on at speeds above 70 mph without causing my head to bob around.

The 4 star rating has to do with mounting the Flyscreen on the forks. The hardware looks good once it's installed, but takes some time to position and tighten in place. Not a job you can't do alone, but it helps to have an assistant to allow you to sit on the motorcycle while he/she helps fine-tune the positioning of the screen. Be aware that this is not a quick-disconnect screen.

This screen won't protect you from the elements and it won't provide a quiet enough envelope for you to hold conversations with a passenger. It does look good and it's a big help at high speeds. It's certainly worth it's price to me for that.

These frame sliders are great.I had one of my old frame sliders fall off so I needed a replacement set.Saw these a long time ago but were like $130 or more.So, when I saw these here on Amazon for 1/3 of the price I couldn't help myself.Install was easy enough since I already had to old hardware on my bike. 03 GSX-R 750. I already had the no-cut bracket, these don't come with that, but I didn't need it.Splicing the wires was easy enough, and the led's give off a lot of light much easier to see you turning. Bought this product thinking it was the complete kit for the extended trunk of a 2005 edge polaris 600. it is the basic plastic insert and if I knew how it was built I would not have paid $100 to be able to attach the top cover and lose space in the compartment at the same time. Great for those that like nice neat trunk space. I have not used it yet, but suspect that snow will get in easy, so every thing needs to be in `plastic anyway to keep dry. It does not lock well, and needs triming to get the latch to close.

I know a lot of people, especially in the chopper or MC world, eschew saddlebags as an unnecessary frivolity.I find that I just have to have a way to carry things around that doesn't involve a backpack.When I bought my Cruz Tools Tool Kit, the wife asked me when I was ever going to need a tool that I couldn't keep in the garage.I patiently explained that the whole point of the Cruz kit was to have a comprehensive set of tools that I could use to make minor repairs on the road.With a skeptical look in her eye she then asked me where I was going to keep it - and I promptly bought the Saddlemen tool pouch.I use the tools all the time, admittedly usually in someone's garage, but occasionally a minor fix would be needed on the road and I've got some tools to accomplish that.And a way to carry them around.

I've tried a couple of different saddlebag vendors over the years and I've been happiest with the bags from Saddlemen.You can get cheaper bags, and I have, but I've always regretted it.I recently purchased some $40 bags, just to have something to keep stuff in when I ride.I immediately regretted it.The bags looked cheap and almost instantly started to deteriorate before my eyes.I eventually replaced every rivet holding the bags together with nuts and bolts before I decided to replace them.Saddlemen bags are extremely well made with heavy stitching, tough hardware and appear to have been designed by someone who actually rides.

The tattoo series offers a touch of style beyond the usual conchos and fringe.My particular bike has a flame theme (flame stitched Corbin Gunfighter seat, mirrors, footpegs, grips, etc.) and the colors are H-D orange and black, so these bags matched my bike like they'd been custom-made for it.That said, these bags don't arrive ready to throw over your bike - there's some assembly required.

When the bags arrive, you have to take a few minutes and attach the cover flaps (the part with the stitching) to the bags (the part you keep stuff in.)Once you see what is needed, it really is a breeze to do, I just found the directions a little vague.One tip I can offer: keep all of your parts and tools *in* the bag you're working on.That way when you drop something, it'll land in the bag and not go rolling down your driveway.Saddlemen helpfully provide extra hardware, just in case you lose something.Also, you'll need a tiny 7mm wrench to hold the acorn nut still while you crank down the screws attaching the flap to the bag.I looked all over the directions and couldn't find this vital piece of information.Oh sure, you could use a pair of pliers - but, doggone it, I bought all of these tiny metric wrenches for a reason!

Saddlemen makes a great product and I've never, ever been disappointed in the quality.I've never had to resort to customer service with a problem, but I have had some friends who did and they uniformly report a positive experience.

Great bags and now you don't have an excuse for not carrying around a couple of useful tools and a jacket for that unexpected squall.

i bought the rider link 1 year before.

my only great complain si about. cell phone cable. it is a (3.5mm 2 ring-3 conector). and moderm cell are (3.5mm or 2.5mm 3ring-4 conector.)

the problem with this is you can only hear the phone call but are not able to speak because the cell phone (nokia 5800 xpress music) only recognize as a spearker and not as a handfree.

but the way this is a good trick.. i use the nokia as mp3 and gps too. (less device on road.good suguestion is to put all togetter in a tank bags because it has many cables.

but. is very good device for the price. comunication betwen passanger. at high spedd. (about 80miles).

i think fm radio is uless, and the device could be smaller. and thiner

When I bought these glasses, I was dubious about the way the temple supports locked to the lens.Surely a product with a warranty will hold up.

I took them out for two bike rides, and stored them in their case between rides.I've had them for just over three weeks.No impacts, no drops, nothing of note whatsoever.

I took them out of their case today and noticed two large cracks emanating from the hole the temple supports locked in.I had to ride with, as they were the only pair I had with me.By the time I finished my 25 mile ride, the cracks had extended nearly to the perimeter of the lens.

I bought these grips to get rid of some of the numbness I experience when on a longer motorcycle ride. They work GREAT!! Very easy to install as well on my Honda VTX. I read several methods of installing them, and I used double sided carpet tape instead of the super glue that comes in the kit. Take off the old grips, put one layer of carpet tape on the handle bars, wet the tape with a little mineral spirits, and the grips slide right on. I made a mark to reference where I wanted the grips before installing the tape, and let them dry overnight before using. Tape is working great, similar to golf club grip tape.

CRUZTOOLS TOOL KIT H-D V-ROD EKVR1 Review

I ordered this after a friend turned up with a kit for his Beemer that I liked and thought a smart idea.The tool kit is specific to a VRod in having metric and english tools.All tools appear to be of reasonable quality and should last for their intended use as a backup set (this is not a mechanics grade kit but the tools are quaranteed for life and better then the normal cheap quality tools out there).These tools are smaller then full size but just right for packing.I am adding a Leatherman to round out this kit but it seems otherwise complete and at ~$50 it beats pulling tools out of my regular tool box to take with me.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet and hope to keep it that way but a must have for longer trips.

I puchased the large black face SL Police model.Looked good and worked fine untill the first big rainstorm.The case filled with water and the paint on the hands desolved in the water and smeared all over the face.The clock stopped running within a half a day and the face looks like crap.Formotion won't answer my E mails.It is advertised as being water resistant to 300 feet but it couldn't even take a little rain.Steer clear!
