I purchased this in anticipation for a 2300+ mile motorcycle ride through the mountains to include Deals Gap. Not only did it effectively hold all the clothing I needed (I have no saddle bags) it was easy to strap on/off and the waterproof cover is indeed waterproof! I got alot of compliments on this bag compared to ones other people were using. Best part, I could use the roll bag alone when doing a day jaunt and leave the larger one back at the camp. Alot of pockets and areas outside the main compartment to hold items for quick access (such as the rain cover(s)).
