NATIONAL CYCLE FLYSCREEN LS W/CHROM PLATE DK TINT N2531 N2531 Review

I've tried bigger, handlebar-mounted shields on different motorcycles, but always got a lot of head buffeting with them. Since I didn't buy my Super Glide strictly for touring, I didn't want a large fork-mounted shield eventhough one of those would provide much more protection from the elements and might alleviate some or all of the head buffeting. But, especially on long trips, I appreciate this screen's excellent ability to relieve the effort of hanging on at speeds above 70 mph without causing my head to bob around.

The 4 star rating has to do with mounting the Flyscreen on the forks. The hardware looks good once it's installed, but takes some time to position and tighten in place. Not a job you can't do alone, but it helps to have an assistant to allow you to sit on the motorcycle while he/she helps fine-tune the positioning of the screen. Be aware that this is not a quick-disconnect screen.

This screen won't protect you from the elements and it won't provide a quiet enough envelope for you to hold conversations with a passenger. It does look good and it's a big help at high speeds. It's certainly worth it's price to me for that.
