I bought this windshield (my second Memphis Shades screen) to replace the original OEM screen on my Harley Road King.The OEM version was just a bit too tall and the edge of it was right in my sight line when I was riding and was very annoying.So I just wanted something a couple of inches lower.The Harley screen was around $160.The Memphis Shades version was $92!
When I got the screen I immediately noticed it was made of a heavier (thicker) lexan material than the OEM screen which I really like as it's very beefy and complements the bike very well.Also, the mounting holes lined up perfectly with my original hardware and the holes themselves are reinforced with grommets to stop the lexan from splitting, which I thought was a very nice feature.
I elected to buy the "Solar" tinted screen which just has a very light even tint all over it and it looks really fantastic on the bike.
The height is now perfect and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.This screen is a million times better quality than the Harley version at almost half the price.This is the second one I've bought (the first was for my wife's Honda Shadow) and they have both been fantastic.I would defintely recommend this brand to anyone now.
